Information for Libraries
Acquisition librarians will find us
easy to work with. We go the extra mile when it comes to
servicing our public sector customers. We understand that you
have limited acquisitions budgets and staff shortages, and try
to
make the process from buying to shelving as simple as possible.
Buying our Books
Our
books may be purchased through your usual book ording channels.
That means that if you normally purchase through Baker
&
Taylor (like most large library systems) then you can find all of our
titles available in their Title Source II database for online ordering.
Or, if you are in the minority of libraries who purchase from
the
Ingram Book Group, then you can order our titles directly through their
system.
Many libraries, however, order through library
distributors or other library service companies (a.k.a. "jobbers").
Many of our titles are available to the library market
through
our distributors Quality Books and Unique Books. And we work
with
most of the major jobbers consolidating orders from multiple publishers
to simplify your purchasing and cataloging process: Coutts
Library Services, S&B Books, and others.
Ordering Direct
Some
libraries choose to order directly from us. We offer special
promotions two times per year to the library market, in spring and in
the fall, often with 20% off (or more!) on our titles and free shipping
